Reach Capital | Private Assets Advisor’s William Barrett, CAIA shared his predictions for private equity deals, fundraising, and performance in 2024, in an interview with Preqin’s Grant Murgatroyd.
William discusses the drivers behind the growing dissonance between large funds and those below the billion-dollar size cap, such as a more diversified LP base and larger budgets for placement agents and external advisors. On the infrastructure side, William explains why, despite a slow 2023, we expect the market to begin to pick up again in the next 12 months.
Given our extensive experience across private equity, credit, and infrastructure markets, we enjoyed sharing a snapshot of our bet for next year. With the challenging fundraising market set to continue, we believe it is the ideal time for asset managers to make the most of external advisors and take every step possible to reach and exceed their fund targets.
