Asset-based credit: As easy as ABC?

In an interview with Private Debt Investor’s John Bakie, Reach Capital | Private Assets Advisor’s Managing Partner William Barrett, CAIA discussed asset-based finance and its increasing popularity thanks to its broad range and underlying collateral. With more and more institutional investors looking to align their investments with ESG obligations, we delved into the ways asset-based credit can effectively help achieve these sustainability goals.

The conversation considered how asset-based credit can offer clarity in ESG. We highlighted the advantages that come with having these hard assets, such as the ability to easily demonstrate one’s ESG commitments, and the higher degree of control over environmental and social policies that these can offer.
