In response to macroeconomic challenges, we discussed with Karin the difficulties facing today’s LPs seeking to allocate capital so as not to miss out on the potential for a strong post-downturn 2023 vintage. We explored why the need for agile fund management and liquidity solutions is greater than ever, despite cautious signs of market recovery.

In the article, we touched on the effect that the bond market has on private equity as an asset class, as well as possible solutions for LPs such as renegotiating with boards on allocation amount, and active engagement with the secondaries market to recover capital.
